Q: Do I need to be an expert rider to take an Urban AdvenTour?
A: The short answer is no; riders of all levels are welcome. It is important to remember, however, that many of our tours are conducted on both recreational trails as well as on Boston’s busy city streets, only some of which have bike lanes. For this reason, it is imperative that you are able to stay alert and ride with confidence in traffic. A custom tour is always available for riders with less experience or for riders who want to build their confidence biking in traffic. For our standard tours, we recommend that you have at least some experience riding on busy streets with car traffic. Close
Q: What is the Urban AdvenTours philosophy?
A: We believe strongly that those who choose the bicycle as a mode of transportation are expressing a healthful commitment to themselves, their bodies and their environment. We at Urban AdvenTours fully support this commitment. Whether you call Boston your home or you are exploring the city for the first time, we want you to experience this amazing city via two-wheel power. Discover Beantown more thoroughly than exploring by foot, more intimately than touring by Trolley or Duck. Rest assured when you dine at one of Boston's fine restaurants - you'll have earned dessert.
