Bay State Bike Week!

Every May, Massachusetts residents and bike commuters come together to celebrate human-powered, two-wheeled transportation during Bay State Bike Week (BSBW). From Cape Cod to the Berkshires and everywhere around and in between (#ibikeboston), Commonwealth participants organize bike-centric events to encourage new riders and raise awareness about bicycle transportation.

“The MassCommute Bicycle Challenge (MCBC) is a week-long, FREE and friendly competition among Massachusetts businesses, educational institutions, and municipalities. For the 24th year in a row, the 2018 MCBC will take place during Bay State Bike Week (May 12th – 20th).

This exciting corporate challenge has been hosted by MassCommute for Bay State bicyclists for 24 years. Simply register for the Challenge and log your daily miles and trips taken by bicycle, and you’re in the running! Join us this May for prizes, raffles, and our legendary “Bike Bash” celebration at Flat Top Johnny’s in Cambridge on Thursday, 5/24.”
