Our Favorite Guides to Winter Cycling Apparel
We’ve already shared some of our favorite winter cycling tips, and you may have noticed that #1 on that list is about dressing for the weather: it’s really that important. And so, to help aid you in your search for winter cycling comfort and bliss, we’ve compiled a list of our favorite winter cycling apparel guides, because why reinvent the wheel? (Well, because 650B is the new 700C… but I digress).
Without further ado, here are some of our favorite guides to winter cycling apparel:
- Road Bike Rider, “What to Wear in Various Weather” – This is a good all-weather guide geared, predictably, for roadies, but also works as a general guide for most kinds of riding
- Bicycling Magazine, “How to Dress for Cycling in Cold Weather” – Ah, Bicycling. Venerable guide from a venerable publication.
- REI, “Tips for Winter Bicycling” – Maybe a little sales-heavy, but still some good information in here, too. Note a discussion like ours about tire width.
- IceBike “Winter Cycling Clothes: The Ultimate Guide” – Perhaps one of the most detailed and thoughtful discussions on this list, this is where your blog writer learned how to dress that first winter in Wisconsin…
