Let Your Kids Get In On the Fun!

We offer 20” wheeled bicycles for children between the ages of 5 and 8, or are 4’0” to 4’5” (122-136cm). We recommend the 24″ wheel bike for kids between 8 and 11, or above 4’5” (136cm), but are not quite ready for an adult bike.

Since it’s the law in Massachusetts that all persons under the age of 17 wear a helmet when riding a bike, we provide helmets with our rentals to ensure safety for the kids, so the adults can relax and enjoy the ride as well!

For children who are smaller or not comfortable biking on their own, we offer trail-a-bikes, burley trailers, and baby seats for them to enjoy the ride in style. These items are available as an add-on when you rent a city bike.

All rentals include helmets, locks, flat kits, and lights upon request. Pick up anytime on the day of your booking, and return the bike by the same time the following day!

Delivery is subject to availability, on a case-by-case basis. We request at least 48-hour notice for deliveries. Please call us at 617-670-0637 to discuss pricing and availability prior to booking.

All rental bookings are NON-REFUNDABLE; although you may change your rental date for a $20 rebooking fee. If you need to cancel, you will receive credit which is good for use towards rentals and tours.

PLEASE NOTE: trail-a-bikes, burley trailers, and baby seats are only available for FULL DAY RENTAL.

  • Child seat (ages 1-3, max 40lbs/18kg) – $30/day

  • Trail-a-bike (ages 4-10, max 75lbs/34kg) – $45/day

  • Burley Trailer (up to 2 children, max 100lbs/45kg) – $50/day

Disclaimer

Please treat our bicycles as if they were your own. You are liable for any and all damage, loss, or theft of rented items. There will be a cleaning fee of $50 if bicycle is not returned in a reasonably clean condition at the discretion of Urban Adventours. The rental period starts upon pickup and ends upon return of equipment. We do not store any rental items for customers. Bicycles may be picked up and dropped off only during our opening hours.  Additional fee of $100 will incur if rental items are returned during our closed hours.
